Our story
At Muna and Luchi Care Services, we believe every African child deserves to grow up with healthy, strong, and beautifully nurtured natural hair. Based in Lagos, Nigeria, we are a passionate, mother-led company offering holistic child hair and scalp care solutions for families who want more than just products—they want knowledge, support, and a lasting hair care routine that truly works.
Founded by Oluchi Madubuike, a geoscientist turned child hair care advocate, our journey began at home with a single goal: to give her daughter, Muna, the gift of healthy, thriving natural hair. What started as a simple, intentional hair routine became a trusted brand serving thousands of African families.
We specialise in organic, easy-to-use hair products made specifically for African children. We also offer one-on-one hair consultations that address common concerns like dryness, scalp infections, hair breakage, bald spots, and more. Our approach is holistic—we don’t just look at the hair but also at the child’s nutrition, medical background, and overall well-being.
Oluchi’s passion for natural child hair care first took shape in 2013 through her blog Acharachabynature, where she shared her journey from relaxed to natural hair. After the birth of her daughter in 2016, the growing interest from other mothers inspired the launch of our first products: the beloved Mummy & Me satin bonnets and Satin Blusters. Since then, our offerings have expanded to include ebooks, online courses, and a complete line of carefully formulated child-specific hair care products.
With a growing online community of over 30,000 caregivers and more than 2,000 happy customers, Muna and Luchi Care Services is more than a business—it’s a movement. We are on a mission to change the narrative of African children’s hair by empowering mothers with the tools, education, and support they need to care for their children’s natural hair at home confidently.
Whether you’re just starting your journey or looking for trusted products that work, we’re here for you, one wash day at a time.
